See & Do

Trevi Fountain

Rome's largest and most photographed fountain — best seen away from the midday crush.

The coin tradition

Throwing a coin over your left shoulder with your right hand is said to guarantee a return to Rome; the coins collected are donated to a charity supporting a local food bank.

Best time to visit

Very early morning or late at night — the piazza is small relative to how many visitors it draws, and midday crowds can make it hard to even see the water.

Nearby

The fountain sits on the edge of Tridente, an easy add-on to a walk down Via del Corso or up toward the Spanish Steps.
