At your hotel
Most hotels will store luggage on departure day if you ask — worth doing before checking out to free up the day without paying for storage. Some charge a small fee; most don't for a reasonable number of hours.

Most luggage storage services (both Termini's official facility and third-party networks) operate on a simple drop-off and collection basis with no advance booking required for walk-in use, though booking ahead online sometimes secures a small discount and guarantees availability during unusually busy periods.
What not to store
Valuables, breakables and anything you might need urgently (medication, chargers) are best kept with you rather than in storage — while services are generally reliable, treating storage as suitable only for genuinely non-essential bulk luggage is the safer approach.
